Harry potter
Jul. 16th, 2007 03:09 pmOk i responded to somebody with part of this:
Wow am i alone in the opinion that this was the worst of the Potter flicks yet? Actually it was the only one I didn't like. I really felt like they spent a ton for time playing cinematics and special effects at the expense of leaving out crucial plot points and things that actually accelerated the story line.
I actually feel like i would have been totally lost had i not read the book.
( spoiler behind cut )
To sum it up, I feel like i read the Cliff notes on the book by watching the movie. None of the story was actually included. It was just an outline with no substance.
I am not comparing this to the book at this point. If it were a stand alone movie and there was no book, I don't feel like I was told a story. I feel like I was told about a story.
